The Three Fishes is a small, family-run business born from a love of beautiful fragrance and handmade creations. We lovingly make wax and gel melts that smell incredible, feel special and remain affordable — because everyone deserves a little luxury in their home.
THE MEANING BEHIND OUR NAME
Three fishes. One family legacy.
Our name is far more than a business name. It holds generations of family history and has a deeply sentimental place in our hearts.
Our family were traditionally bricklayers from Pershore. Whenever they completed a job, they would leave their own special trademark behind by drawing three fishes into the brickwork. That mark became part of their story — and, if you look carefully, it can still be found in the wall surrounding Pershore Abbey.
Our dad is now the only one of them left, and we could not allow such a meaningful family legacy to fade away. By naming our business The Three Fishes, we are proudly carrying their mark into the next generation — transforming something once drawn into brickwork into something lovingly handmade for homes and families today.
MEET THE TEAM · CREATIVE DESIGNER
Meet Abi — Creative Designer
Those who know me best call me Abbs. I am a wife, mother, daughter, auntie and nurse, with a creative side that I discovered almost by accident.
I first began making wax melts after a close friend recommended that I give it a try. In a busy life filled with caring for others, making melts became something that was just for me — a little time to switch off, be creative and do something I truly enjoyed.
My very first melt was Berry Berry Twist. My twin sister — or my “Twister”, as I call her — fell in love with it and encouraged me to branch out. I soon discovered gel melts and loved how clean and easy they were to remove from the warmer, so naturally, I had to try making those too.
But my creative journey did not end with fragrance. When my husband and I got married, Amber and I created everything ourselves — from the invitations and signage to the children’s activity packs, table decorations and all the little wedding essentials that made our day personal to us.
That experience uncovered a creative side I never knew I had. Before long, the Occasions & Custom Designs branch of The Three Fishes was born — giving me the opportunity to create meaningful, personalised pieces for other people’s special moments too.

Meet Liz — Orders & Stock
Hello! I’m Liz, and I feel incredibly privileged to be part of The Three Fishes. For many years, the three fishes have been a treasured symbol of my dad’s side of the family, and I am so proud to see that legacy being carried forward.
By day, I’m a self-confessed geek and Educational Data Analyst. By night, there is nothing I love more than settling down with the Harry Potter box set after a long day, with a lovely gel melt warming gently in the background.
My role at The Three Fishes happens mostly behind the scenes, where I help to manage customer orders and keep track of our stock levels.
Seeing the passion, love and commitment that have gone into this family business makes me proud beyond measure. Every positive review, kind comment and piece of customer feedback fills my heart with so much love.

Meet Amber — Socials & Media
I’ve been very good friends with Abi now for 7 years, she’s known as Auntie Abbs to my boys and we’re also fortunate enough that our husbands happen to be best friends too!
Abi and I started wax melt making together when we were planning her wedding (PSA, wax melts are great as a personalised wedding favour 🙌🏼) and it was then that I could hear how much Abi enjoyed making new wax melts. When Abi told me about her plan to make the business I could see how excited she was by this! I’ve always had an interest in Marketing and Social Media management but as a busy mum to 3 boys it’s not something I’ve ever had chance to explore, so I offered to help Abi as much as I could. Helping Abi and exploring the possibilities that social media can bring to a business has been so much fun to learn about!
We cannot wait to see where The Three Fishes takes Abi and we’re so happy we can help in anyway that we can 🥰

Meet Jake — Post & Delivery
Hi, I’m Jake — although some people call me Bern, and you can blame my wife for that! I’m Abi’s husband and her biggest supporter.
Football is my passion, and I am currently working towards making it my career while also helping to build a lasting legacy for our children.
I first became involved in wax making by helping Abi create the occasional scent for us to enjoy around the house. After seeing how much passion she had for her wax melts and how determined she was to take the business forward, I offered to help wherever I could.
My main role at The Three Fishes is taking care of the post and deliveries. I also lend a hand with packaging and labelling from time to time — but I’m more than happy to leave the creative side to my beautiful wife!
